  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

Burglary and vehicle crime is an ongoing priority.

    Issued 01 December 2025

    Action taken:

Local officers are reviewing all reports of vehicle crime and burglary, supported by our forensics and detective colleagues. This ensures that our operational activities are driven through the criminal justice processes to achieve the best outcome for the public. Our officers continue to make key arrests through detailed investigations, and bringing offenders to justice. This is ongoing.

During the month of November, we have had no reported burglaries in Biddulph town. Vehicle crime is also low with just four reports during November.

    Actioned 31 January 2026

  • Priority:

Anti-social behaviour (ASB) around Sainsburys High Street, Biddulph Town.

    Issued 01 September 2026

    Action taken:

Previous interventions have taken place with increased patrols, ASB dispersal powers used and Youth Intervention Workers have tried to engage with young persons in the area.

Calls are monitored and reviewed on a daily basis where ASB around Biddulph is reported and positive action has been taken against identified repeat names/offenders. This had lead to arrests, charges and bail conditions and has led to a reduction in calls.

The local Policing team will continue to review and take positive action.

    Actioned 01 December 2026

  • Priority:

Theft of motor vehicles and shed break-ins

    Issued 01 September 2026

    Action taken:

Increased patrol both visible and plain clothes tactics to be used with targeted stop search. Proactive teams to monitor intelligence, suspects and persons of interest with a view to disrupting and positive action.

Reports to be monitored for patterns and trends including cross border offending. CBO's and other interventions will be used where offenders identified.

    Actioned 01 December 2026

  • Priority:

    Nuisance motorbikes and e-bikes

    Issued 29 September 2026

    Action taken:

Use of CCTV, witnesses, housing and smart water to identify owners and riders. A zero tolerance approach where road traffic legislation and anti-social behaviour (ASB) legislation will be used to fine those breaking the law and causing anti-social behaviour and bikes will be seized.

Road policing operations involving marked cars, off road bikes and drones/fixed wing planes to take place with a view to locating offenders.

    Actioned 01 December 2026
