A man has been jailed for more than a decade after he launched a vicious and prolonged assault on his ex-partner in Stafford.
More than 30 arrests have been made and 25kg of suspected monkey dust has been seized as part of a priority operation targeting the illegal substance across Staffordshire.
An open letter signed by 50 policing and law enforcement leaders from across the UK, including Staffordshire, also calls for the introduction of stronger protections for victims and communities when release arrangements change.
We are urging residents across Staffordshire to register their CCTV and doorbell cameras as part of a county-wide campaign to help solve crimes that matter to your community.
A man who committed a string of child sexual offences in the 90s has now been jailed.
Increase in anti-social behaviour (ASB) at Grindley park in Meir Heath, where large groups of youths are gathering, leaving rubbish and drinking alcohol. This has become the place to be for young persons to gather, especially during school holidays and with the recent warm weather.

Increased reports of drugs been dealt and increased use of cannabis in Barlaston.

We have seen an increase in reports of hare coursing in the rural areas, which appears to be a national trend. Officers from the County Pro Active and Rural team have been tasked to try and gather intelligence and take positive action against anyone believed to be committing offences.

Reports of car meets / car cruising at various locations across Stafford Borough which include Trentham (Monkey Forest Island A34) , Tittensor, Meaford, Darlaston and Stone which are causing a danger to road users, pedestrians and those involved due to the high speeds the vehicles are driven at which increases risk of injury or serious harm.

Social media post shared on Stafford Borough Police Facebook page and also Stoke Police Facebook page due to close proximity to the border, to increase awareness around risk as proactive response to the problem. The Social Media post also provides information around a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) in place for the A34 between Trentham and Stafford in relation to historic issues around car meets/cruising in a attempt to manage further issues. This is alongside the issue of 23 Community Protection Warnings (CPW's) to keepers of vehicles from two incidents whereby vehicles have been reported as being involved/engaging in the reported activity.
