Our county proactive and rural crime teams have supported us with high visibility patrols in this area. Several arrests have been made of individuals identified through intelligence and proactive policing work. We will continue to monitor the issues.

Action taken:
Our County Proactive and Rural team have spent time in the local area targeting nominals based on the intelligence we have received. This has resulted in several stop searches and a vehicle of a nominal involved in dealing drugs being seized. Investigations remain ongoing and we will continue to patrol the area with uniform and plain clothes officers.

Local officers have adapted the patrol plan to be more visible in the area and have bid for road crime support to create operations to take positive action against those causing the issues.

Local residents have been visited, warning signs have been installed and patrols have been increased in the area.
