  • Priority:

    Theft and shoplifting

    Issued 05 June 2026

    Action taken:

Local policing teams are using Community Behaviour Orders (CBO) alongside prosecuting for theft and associated offences in order to tackle offending behaviour. In recent months, successful investigations have resulted in prolific shoplifters receiving custodial sentences as a result of local investigations into shoplifting. Investigations continue and further applications for CBOs will be made to deal with prolific offending.

A number of further arrests have been made for shoplifting offences. Patrols by Local Policing and Neighbourhood officers continue.

    Actioned 05 June 2026

  • Priority:

    Nuisance motorcycles and off-road bikes.

    Issued 02 March 2026

    Action taken:

Working with partners such as housing, we are collating details of bikes and descriptions of offenders. Through the use of CCTV, drones and fixed wing aircraft in conjunction with our road crime officers to track and locate offending bikes and offenders, a number of vehicle seizures and prosecutions have been made. We are continuing to use anti-social behaviour legislation to seize and destroy bikes as well as issuing Community Protection Warnings/Notices to tackle repeat offenders. This work is ongoing.

    Actioned 02 June 2026

  • Priority:

Anti-social behaviour (ASB) caused by vehicles congregating at Wolstanton Retail Park and surrounding areas

    Issued 05 June 2026

    Action taken:

Regular operations by the Road Crime Team targeting vehicles for speeding, anti-social behaviour and any breaches of Public Space Protection Orders. This is supplemented by dedicated officers at peak times to proactively police and deter vehicles from car cruising. Vehicles to be seized and fines issues where offences identified. CCTV used to retrospectively identify and prosecute any offences identified. Joint working with neighbouring forces to co-ordinate response to car cruising and associated ASB.

    Actioned 05 June 2026

  • Priority:

Concerns have been raised around drug use, supply and the associated crime and anti-social behaviour

    Issued 05 June 2026

    Action taken:

Both high visibility and plain clothes officers operate in the area to deter offenders and take proactive measures to stop and search. Intelligence is being collected and developed with a view to disrupting drug supply and prosecution of offenders. This is being done through drugs warrants, stop search powers and closure orders amongst other positive action towards those identified as being involved in drug use and supply.

There has been a reduction in reports of drug possession / dealing activity and patrols remain in place to monitor.

    Actioned 05 June 2026
