Nuisance motorcycles and off-road bikes.

Working with partners such as housing, we are collating details of bikes and descriptions of offenders. Through the use of CCTV, drones and fixed wing aircraft in conjunction with our road crime officers to track and locate offending bikes and offenders, a number of vehicle seizures and prosecutions have been made. We are continuing to use anti-social behaviour legislation to seize and destroy bikes as well as issuing Community Protection Warnings/Notices to tackle repeat offenders. This work is ongoing.

Concerns have been raised around drug use, supply and the associated crime and anti-social behaviour
Issued 05 June 2026
Both high visibility and plain clothes officers operate in the area to deter offenders and take proactive measures to stop and search. Intelligence is being collected and developed with a view to disrupting drug supply and prosecution of offenders. This is being done through drugs warrants, stop search powers and closure orders amongst other positive action towards those identified as being involved in drug use and supply.
There has been a reduction in reports of drug possession / dealing activity and patrols remain in place to monitor.
