Tackling anti-social behaviour and drug use.
Issued 05 December 2025
There has been a recent house closure for a period of three months at a known address where drug use and dealing was taking place. We are working in conjunction with the Environmental Health Department within the Local Authority to improve the conditions of this particular property and the immediate surroundings which have been having a detrimental effect on the local community.
We will continue to monitor this address for a period of three months and consider prosecution for any person believed to be in breach of the court order.
There has recently been a number of drug warrants carried out in this area where a significant amount of Class A and Class B drugs were seized along with several arrests made. Suspects in this matter remain under investigation with a view to prosecute for drug supply.
