A man has been jailed for more than a decade after he launched a vicious and prolonged assault on his ex-partner in Stafford.
More than 30 arrests have been made and 25kg of suspected monkey dust has been seized as part of a priority operation targeting the illegal substance across Staffordshire.
An open letter signed by 50 policing and law enforcement leaders from across the UK, including Staffordshire, also calls for the introduction of stronger protections for victims and communities when release arrangements change.
We are urging residents across Staffordshire to register their CCTV and doorbell cameras as part of a county-wide campaign to help solve crimes that matter to your community.
A man who committed a string of child sexual offences in the 90s has now been jailed.
Increase in anti-social behaviour in the early hours of the morning including kicking doors, noise and general nuisance.
It is believed that youths are responsible and that they tell parents they are sleeping at friends, but appear to wander the streets instead.

Increase in patrols in affected areas. A smart alert has been shared advising of issues and asking parents to check where their children are.
House-to-house enquiries have been carried out to try and identify those responsible.

Our officers in partnership with Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service have carried out high visibility patrols at Wildwood Park, Milford Common and Essex Bridge, Great Haywood. Fire warning signs checked and replaced where necessary.
