Your Local Policing Team is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area, supported by additional officers across the county who work together to improve the safety and well-being of people, places and communities across Staffordshire.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for your area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our force vision of creating a safer Staffordshire.
Ongoing nuisance/dangerous parking, specifically around Church Street.

Parking restrictions are already in place and used by officers to issue tickets, and the use of CCTV/photographic evidence allows us to follow-up with offending vehicles. Police will patrol the area and address any dangerous parking or obstruction offences. Joint working with local authority to address more generic parking issues.
Monitoring continues into Summer 2026 to understand concerns within the community.

Increase in vehicle crime which is a combination of theft of motor vehicles, theft from motor vehicles, and damage to vehicles.

Policing patrols underway to monitor, identify and deter these issues. 29 incidents noted since March 2026. Neighbourhood Policing patrols continue to monitor, deter and address this issue.
