Following community feedback, we will focus over the forthcoming three months to reduce the prevalence and impact of drug misuse within the community by disrupting illegal activity, supporting vulnerable individuals, and improving public safety through enforcement, education, and partnership working.

Over the next three months, we’re prioritising action on drug misuse and the harm it causes in our community. This includes tackling drug-related crime, dealing with hotspots where misuse leads to anti-social behaviour, and addressing the wider impact on safety and wellbeing. You’ll see more high-visibility patrols, targeted operations, and enforcement against those involved in drug supply and misuse. We’ll also work in partnership with local authorities, health services, and community organisations to reduce harm, support vulnerable individuals, and keep our streets safe for everyone.
Anti social use of vehicles

Over the next three months, the neighbourhood policing team will focus on tackling issues of inconsiderate parking and speeding, which the community has highlighted as key concerns. We will target areas where obstructive parking and excessive speeds are creating safety risks and reducing residents’ quality of life, using visible patrols, targeted enforcement and community intelligence to identify offenders, improve road safety and restore confidence in the affected locations.
