Continued focus on speeding, nuisance parking and anti-social vehicle use
Issued 01 June 2026
Over the next three months, we’re prioritising action on anti-social vehicle use and speeding in our community. This includes tackling vehicles with loud exhausts, dangerous driving, and speeding that puts lives at risk. You’ll see more high-visibility patrols in hotspot areas, targeted checks on vehicles, and enforcement against those breaking the law. We’ll also work in partnership with local authorities and road safety teams to reduce harm and keep our streets safe
Continued focus on speeding, nuisance parking and anti-social vehicle use
Issued 28 February 2026
During the three months ahead, the neighbourhood policing team will focus on tackling issues around speeding and inconsiderate parking, following clear concerns raised by the community. Our attention will be directed toward areas where unsafe driving and speeding are affecting safety and daily life. Officers will use visible patrols, targeted enforcement and community intelligence to identify those responsible and improve safety and confidence across the affected locations.
