Anti-social use of vehicles, including inconsiderate driving and noise nuisance.
Issued 28 August 2025
We will target the anti-social and unlawful use of motor vehicles that causes harm, distress, or disruption in our communities. This includes reckless driving, illegal street racing, excessive noise, and vehicles being used inappropriately in residential areas, parks, or pedestrian zones. Our approach combines proactive policing, intelligence-led enforcement, and community collaboration to create safer streets and public spaces. This will be the local focus for the next three months.
Continued focus on anti-social use of vehicles, including inconsiderate driving and noise nuisance.
Issued 30 November 2025
Over the next three months, we’re prioritising action on illegal e-scooter use, nuisance vehicles, parking issues, and gatherings that cause disruption in our community. This includes tackling vehicles causing obstruction, inconsiderate parking, and anti-social behaviour. You’ll see more high-visibility patrols in key locations, targeted checks on disruptive or illegally parked vehicles, and enforcement against those breaking the law. We’ll also be working in partnership with local authorities and community groups to keep our streets safe, clear, and welcoming for everyone.
