Continuing issues relating to preventing and disrupting shoplifting, this is a priority for our local officers.
Action taken:
Local officers are actively tackling shoplifting, by working alongside key specialist stakeholders including businesses in coordination with neighbouring Policing Teams and Police Forces. We are conducting operations to disrupt offending and bring offenders to justice.

Officers are taking positive action against incidents of shoplifting and utilising civil powers to address prolific offenders.

Anti-social behaviour (ASB) in Heath Hayes especially with off-road bikes and e-scooters
Action taken:
Officers are working closely with local business owners and Community Safety Partnership teams to ensure open spaces are a safe environment. Our teams provide a number of initiatives including intervention work to ensure those committing ASB are diverted to positive activities. We have already seen great improvements but want to keep the focus leading up to the summer months
