Sorry, there was a technical problem. Please try again.
Thanks for trying the 'beta' version of our new website. It's a work in progress, we'll be adding new services over the next few weeks, so please take a look and tell us what you think.
These pages are in beta, which means they're new and we may still be working on them. Your feedback helps us make things better.
We will be opening our doors to the public in the first open day in five years.
The event is taking place at our headquarters on Weston Road, Stafford, from 11am until 4pm on Sunday 15 September, and entry is free for everyone.
We’ve got lots in store for everyone in the family to enjoy, including the chance to meet some of our brave police dogs and handlers keeping people safe every day.
For people who want to get an idea of what it’s like to be at the front of the wheel of a police carrier, there’s an opportunity to sit in a police car and on a police motorbike, along with a number of demonstrations on the type of things our officers tackle on a daily basis, including methods of entry into addresses, working at heights and policing public order.
Our police cadets will also be carrying out drills for people to see on the day, alongside arena performances, activities for children, vehicle displays, and food stalls.
The outdoor area of our HQ will be divided into five zones, operations, dogs, roads policing, joint emergency services response and community.
You can view the programme, which includes map showing where all the key features are, here: https://issuu.com/staffspolice/docs/opendayprogramme-ftl.
A park and ride service will be running to help get people to the event safely. This year we are asking everyone to pay a small fee of £3 per car to help recoup costs for the event. Everyone is encouraged to book in advance online here: Staffordshire Police Open Day park and ride tickets
Sorry, no dogs allowed apart from assistance or guide dogs. There will be working police dogs on site, so please leave your four-legged friends at home to avoid disappointment.
We are trying to keep this event as cashless as possible, however some vendors will still take cash. Please note there is not a working cash machine on site.

Please do not bring large bags. We recommend small bags or rucksacks and these will be subject to a bag search.
Any item or part of an item that could be considered potentially harmful to public safety is prohibited.
