We’re holding a special day to give you a behind the scenes glimpse of the work we do every day to keep communities across Staffordshire safe.
Our open day will take place from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 13 June at Staffordshire County Showground on Weston Road, Stafford, ST18 0BD.
Entry and onsite parking are free, and we’ll have something for everyone, so whether you’re looking for free activities for the kids, or if you have queries about policing and crime, come along for a great day out.
You can watch live demonstrations featuring our police dog team, public order team and armed response officers throughout the day from 11:30am.
Officers and staff from specialist teams across the force will also be there to showcase the work they do behind the scenes to keep you safe. A few of the teams attending include recruitment, local policing teams, forensics, road crime team, driver training, police dogs, cadets and specials.
We’ll also be offering you the opportunity to experience virtual reality with a simulated blue light run, a VR taser display and a motorbike simulator to improve road safety.
Several of our community safety partners will be there on the day including, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service, the Air Ambulance, the Armed Forces and Staffordshire Safer Roads Partnership.
Make your visit fun for the whole family by taking part in our activity trail for the chance to win a family pass to Play at Lower Drayton Farm. Pick up your activity sheet at the main gate on the day to take part.
