Our policing plan aims to give confidence to the public, and our staff, about what we want to achieve together. It gives a route map and clear ideas of how we will get there – it outlines what we’ll be doing over the next two years to move closer to our vision of being an outstanding police force.
We have significantly more challenging financial circumstances to take account of, and we have changes ahead in terms of both national police reform and local government reform.

Our staff should be proud of what they’ve achieved over the last two years, but I get no sense of complacency. We have much more to do in improving the service we deliver to our communities and victims.
