Three people have been arrested following a fatal collision in Great Wyrley.
Officers were called at 9.30pm on Saturday (3 October) to Stafford Road following reports of a collision involving a silver Audi, a silver Ford and a black Kia.
A passenger in the Audi, a man, suffered serious injuries.
Sadly, after being taken to hospital following the collision, he died on Monday (5 October). Specialist officers are supporting his family at this incredibly difficult time.
The driver and a passenger in the Ford were also taken to hospital. One has since been discharged.
Officers have been completing initial enquiries into the collision and have arrested three people:
They have all been released on condition bail whilst enquiries continue.
Collision investigators are actively carrying out enquiries to find out more around the circumstances of the collision, including whether anyone from inside the Audi may have left the scene before officers arrived.
