We have seized a vehicle and issued numerous warnings as part of an ongoing crackdown on vehicle-related anti-social behaviour (ASB) in south Staffordshire.
Officers proactively patrolled ASB hotspots in Wombourne and Kinver on Sunday (14 June).
On Windsor Holloway, officers seized a quad bike and gave the driver a ticket for driving without insurance.
Officers then spotted an e-scooter being driven at speed on Giggetty Lane. The rider was given a Section 59 ASB warning. This means that if the vehicle is seen being driven illegally or anti-socially again in the future, it will be seized.
Another warning was given to a man who was riding a segway on Wombourne Railway Walk.
Chief Inspector Kelly Wareing, of the south Staffordshire local policing team (LPT) said: “This was a proactive operation where we showed our zero-tolerance approach to illegal and anti-social driving across south Staffordshire.
“We will continue to patrol local hotspots and take action against those responsible for vehicle-related ASB.”
