At 11.25pm on Saturday (30 May), we were called by our colleagues at West Midlands Ambulance Service who were responding a report of a stabbing at a house on Church Eaton Road.
A large group of young people are understood to have attended a house party, where a man was then stabbed.
The victim was taken to hospital and was discharged the next day (Sunday 31 May).
Officers attended the scene and spoke with a number of people to understand more about what happened.
A 17-year-old boy, from south Staffordshire, has since been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 – wounding. He has been questioned and bailed with conditions while enquiries continue.
