We have seized an off-road bike and suspected stolen parts following a proactive operation in Stoke-on-Trent yesterday (Wednesday 17 June).
As part of Operation Transom, officers searched an address in Meir following intelligence that an off-road bike had been ridden illegally and anti-socially in the area recently.
They seized an off-road bike and a number of suspected stolen parts.
The owner of the bike is due to be voluntarily interviewed.
Sergeant Adam Charlesworth, of the City Intervention Team, said: “We are committed to seizing vehicles that are being used illegally from the roads, to keep other road users and pedestrians safe.
"Information gathering is crucial for us to take action against those responsible and the public can play a huge part in this.
"I would urge people to report any information to us and where appropriate, send us any CCTV or doorbell footage of vehicles being used anti-socially or illegally.”
