We have arrested a total of nine men on suspicion of theft offences following a business burglary in Stone.
Officers carried out the majority of the arrests throughout last week (15 June ) and this week (22 June), as part of an ongoing investigation into a burglary at a commercial site on Brooms Road in May 2024.
We had been called at around 9pm on Sunday 12 May 2024 to the premises following reports of an alarm going off.
Officers attended and found that a number of shutters had been damaged, and a large amount of stock had been stolen from a warehouse at the site, with suspects using multiple vehicles to take items away.
Since the burglary, we have been able to recover a significant amount of the items stolen.
