A man has been jailed after we found large amounts of cocaine and cannabis, worth in the region of £25,000, inside a house in Stoke-on-Trent.
Dean Rowlinson, aged 28, of Fegg Hayes, Stoke-on-Trent, appeared at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Friday (29 May) and was handed a three-year-and-three-month jail term after admitting possession with intent to supply class A drugs, cocaine; possession with intent to supply class B drugs; cannabis, and possession of criminal property.
Rowlinson was arrested at the end of October 2024 at an address in Fegg Hayes.
Multiple bags of cannabis vegetation were found on the kitchen floor, worktops and cupboards, along with a sandwich bag of white powder concealed in a blue carrier bag on top of the cooker, and drug paraphernalia throughout the house. The street value of the substances seized is estimated at more than £24,500, with the cocaine valued at around £4,000, and the cannabis worth over £20,000.
Rowlinson later admitted the offences in court and alongside his prison sentence, was ordered to pay a surcharge of £228 upon his release.
Speaking following sentencing, PC Jack Ibbotson, who was the officer in the case, said: “Rowlinson was clearly involved in the supply of drugs, and the more officers searched the property, the more illegal substances we were able to recover.
“We continue to do all we can to disrupt the supply of drugs in Staffordshire and are committed to bringing those responsible before the courts.”
