A man and a woman have been charged after officers found crack cocaine, cannabis, a knife, a mobile phone and cash in Burton-on-Trent.
Lisa Tiso, 44, from Burton-on-Trent, has been charged with possessing a controlled drug of class A (crack cocaine) and possessing a controlled drug of class B (cannabis).
Kiros Aymer, 18, of no fixed address, has been charged with possessing an offensive weapon on a private place and possessing a controlled drug of class B (cannabis).
It comes after officers from our major and organised crime proactive team stopped and searched a woman in Burton-on-Trent on Monday (8 June).
They later searched an address in the town.
Tiso has been released on bail to appear at Cannock Magistrates’ Court on 1 July.
Aymer has been released on conditional bail to appear at the same court on 15 July.
