We are appealing for information following a serious assault in Stoke-on-Trent.
At 9.20pm last night (Wednesday 3 June) we were told that a man had been stabbed during a disturbance involving a large group of people on Hartshill Road, Hartshill.
Armed officers went to the scene, safeguarded the man and searched the area.
No weapons, or suspects were found.
The victim, a man in his 40s, suffered an injury to his arm and was taken to hospital by our colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
The group left the area via Hartshill Road towards Hartshill.
Four suspects involved are described as:
A man wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a grey jacket, black trainers and a balaclava.
A man wearing blue jeans, black trainers, a black top and a Burberry-style checked shacket.
A man wearing black jeans, a black top, a black gillet and white trainers.
A man wearing a navy-blue tracksuit and white trainers. He was also carrying a rucksack.
