We are appealing for witnesses after a man was threatened with a knife in Stoke-on-Trent.
At around 2.30pm on Friday (12 June), two men got out of a grey Vauxhall Corsa near St James’ Church on Uttoxeter Road, Longton.
The men approached a green Vauxhall Corsa and threatened the driver with a knife before driving away.
Officers attended the scene and stopped a car nearby. A large knife was seized from inside the car.
A 22-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of affray, possession of a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit.
He has since been released under investigation.
