We are appealing for information after a car was stolen from a man in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
We were called at 4.40am this morning (Friday 12 June) to a property off Seabridge Lane in the Westlands area following reports of aggravated burglary.
A man reported that his BMW X6M had been stolen off his driveway.
The suspects assaulted the victim before making off in the car in the direction of Stoke-on-Trent.
The victim suffered minor facial injuries in the assault.
The car was recovered, abandoned, at around 5am by our Road Crime Team, on Cliffe Street in Smallthorne.

The suspects are described as each under 25 years’ old, wearing all black clothing, and one of the men was around 5ft 8 to 10ins tall.
Officers are carrying out door-to-door inquiries locally and are keen to speak to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area of Cliffe Street this morning.
