A man has been charged with a series of violence offences in Cannock.
Jack William Davis, 23, of Blackfords, Cannock, has been charged with assault of a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm, two counts of assault by beating, one count of intentional strangulation, one count of using threatening / abusive / insulting words and or behaviour with intent to cause fear of / provoke unlawful violence and one count of criminal damage to a property – valued under £5,000.
It comes after we were called to an address in West Chadsmoor late on Friday (30 January).
A woman suffered a number of injuries. They were not deemed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Davis appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre yesterday (Monday 2 February) and has been remanded in custody ahead of his next appearance at Stafford Crown Court on 6 March.
