Two dealers are now behind bars after we found their drug haul, worth more than £130,000, in Stoke-on-Trent.
Officers from our major and organised crime team (MOCT) carried out two warrants at addresses in Hanley and Basford in July last year, following an investigation into drug supply in the area.
In the Hanley address, we found cocaine with an estimated street value up to £100,000, along with an estimated £9,850-worth of heroin and an estimated £26,660-worth of crack cocaine. £27,385 in cash was also found.
In the Basford address, we found more cocaine, believed to be worth around £13,600.
Peter Nwankwo (pictured below), 50, of Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, had control of both of the addresses where the drugs and cash were found. He was arrested inside the Hanley address.

Lamin Jallow (pictured below), 46, of South Queensferry, West Lothian, Scotland, was arrested at the Basford address. His car that was parked outside was also searched, where officers found cannabis, digital scales, a mobile phone and a wallet with £220 inside.

After being questioned in custody, they were both charged with offences and brought before the courts.
At Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Wednesday (22 April), they were both jailed.
Nwankwo admitted possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A (crack cocaine), possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A (heroin), possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A (cocaine), possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A (MDMA), possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A (other), possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class B (cannabis) and possession of criminal property. He was sentenced to nine years in prison.
Jallow admitted possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A (crack cocaine), possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class B (cannabis) and being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine. He was jailed for five-years-and-seven-months.
Action is being taken every single day in Staffordshire against the organised crime groups responsible for drug supply in local communities.
