A heroin and cocaine dealer has been jailed after we found more than £100,000 worth of drugs after stopping his car in Stafford.
Anjid Khan, 44, of Handsworth, Birmingham, was sentenced to six years at Stafford Crown Court on Friday (1 May) after he admitted possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession with intent to supply heroin, possession of crack cocaine, driving a motor vehicle dangerously and criminal damage.

We had information that Khan was travelling in an Audi on the M6 in the early hours of 26 January this year. The car he was driving had been linked to potential drug supply in the West Midlands area.
Three police cars surrounded Khan and boxed him in while travelling on the northbound carriageway, between junction 14 and junction 15.
Despite being boxed in, Khan still used his car to try and escape, causing damage to a police car. He was tasered and bitten by a police dog.
When we searched the car, we found a haul of drugs:
Digital scales were also found in the car.
Khan refused to carry out a breath test in custody. He was further arrested on suspicion of failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
After being questioned, Khan was charged with the offences and later went on to admit the offences at an earlier court hearing.
As part of his sentence, the drugs were ordered to be forfeited and destroyed, along with £510 in cash. Khan was ordered to pay a financial penalty of £228.
Khan has also been banned from driving for two years and ordered to take an extended re-test.
Detective Sergeant Claire Rider, from our criminal investigations department (CID), said: “Khan was determined to protect his extensive drugs haul and evade capture, but we weren’t prepared to let him get away with it.
“Thankfully, we were able to bring him into custody and build all of the evidence needed to prove the offences in court, leading him no choice but to confront his actions and plead guilty.
“We are determined to take robust action against those involved in serious and organised crime across Staffordshire, and this is another example of that ongoing commitment.”
