Sorry, there was a technical problem. Please try again.
Thanks for trying the 'beta' version of our new website. It's a work in progress, we'll be adding new services over the next few weeks, so please take a look and tell us what you think.
We’re advising students across Staffordshire to make sure they take the necessary steps to limit the chances of being targeted by thieves as the new term starts.
Unfortunately, we know that burglars are opportunists, and offending often increases when students start back at university or school in September. Criminals know you’ll be out of your accommodation for long periods of time while sitting in classes, which means that you’re more likely to be targeted at this time of year.
We’re working proactively across Staffordshire to gather intelligence and to act robustly against thieves, but there’s also steps you can take to help us avoid burglaries from happening in the first place.
If you are a victim of burglary, robbery or theft, report it to us by calling 101 or using Live Chat on our website.
