A man has been jailed after he admitted committing child sex offences.
Gary Mosedale, 58, from Blythe Bridge, was sentenced to four years behind bars at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Tuesday (26 August) after he pleaded guilty to attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child, attempting to cause/incite a girl to engage in sexual activity and attempting to cause a child to watch/look at an image of sexual activity at an earlier hearing.
The offences took place between 29 May and 1 June 2024 and following an investigation by our Public Protection Unit (PPU), Mosedale was arrested.
Meghann Ferneyhough, from our PPU, said: “We worked hard to secure evidence against Mosedale once the offences were reported to us.
“We do not underestimate the impact that child sexual offences have on communities across Staffordshire.”
