We are appealing for information after a man sadly died following a collision in the Lichfield area.
We were called shortly before 9pm on Friday (3 October) to Lynn Lane, in Shenstone following reports of a collision.
Three vehicles were involved.
A Peugeot was involved in a collision with a Land Rover Defender. A third vehicle, a Toyota, also sustained minor damage.
Sadly, the driver of the Peugeot, a man in his 60s, was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.
His next of kin has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers at this difficult time.
A passenger of the vehicle, a woman, was taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution.
The driver of the Land Rover, a man, was also checked over at the scene.
The driver of the third vehicle was uninjured.
Two of the vehicles were recovered and the road re-opened a short time later.
We are keen to speak to anyone who saw the vehicles prior to the collision who may have relevant information or dashcam footage.
