Appeal following fatal collision in south Staffordshire

We are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision in Essington, south Staffordshire.

We were called just before 1am yesterday morning (Sunday 26 October) to reports of a collision involving a white Seat Ibiza and a grey Seat Ibiza on Blackhalve Lane.

Sadly, the driver of the white Seat Ibiza, a woman in her 20s, died at the scene.

Her family are being supported by specialist officers. 

A number of other occupants from the vehicles were taken to hospital.

We are keen to speak to anyone who was travelling in the area with any information or those with dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage which could help collision investigators.
