A man and a woman have been charged with the murder of a man in Tamworth in 2022.
Kenneth Newton, 57, and Melanie James, 63, both of Birmingham, have been charged with murder, manslaughter and causing or allowing the death of a child or vulnerable adult.
It comes after we responded to reports of concerns for the welfare of a man at 1.27pm on 27 November 2022. Rubin Blount, then aged 28, who is the step brother of Kenneth, was taken to hospital but sadly died three days later.
Newton and James will appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre tomorrow (Thursday 20 November).
