We are appealing for information after jewellery worth in the region of £20,000 was stolen from a car in Cheadle recently.
We were called at 5.25pm on Friday (14 November) to Tean Road, following reports that two men had broken into a car and stolen a quantity of jewellery, before driving off in another vehicle towards Cheadle town centre.
A box containing silver jewellery was stolen. Two other cabinets of jewellery were also taken from the car but then discarded at the scene.
Officers attended along with colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
A man had sustained an injury to his arm and was treated by paramedics at the scene.
Our inquiries are continuing and anyone with relevant information, dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage should contact us on 101 quoting incident number 666 of 14 November.
