We are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary at a shop in the south of the county.
We were called just after 4am on Sunday 1 June to the Co-op store on Thornhill Road, Streetly, near Sutton Coldfield, after three men with metal bars forced their way in.
A member of security staff was pushed to the floor before the men tried, unsuccessfully, to open a safe.
They then left the scene empty handed in a dark-coloured car.
The suspects are described as three young men wearing dark tracksuits, masks and gloves.
Thankfully, the security guard was not injured.
Anyone with any CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage of the area of the time is asked to contact us. Call 101, quoting incident 133 of 1 June, or use LiveChat on our website.
