Local policing team officers across Staffordshire will be carrying out a number of high-visibility patrols this weekend as part of our ongoing focus on #problemsolvingpolicing.
People should expect to see more officers in a number of areas as we look to continue to engage with our communities and tackle the issues that matter to you.
Areas that will see an increased policing presence on 12 and 13 July include locations within Hanley, Longton, Newcastle, Fenton, Stoke, Shelton, Burslem, Tunstall, Meir, Bentilee and Cheadle. These areas have been identified through ongoing intelligence and data-led work.
Ahead of the increased patrols, Inspector James Howard of our problem-solving team, said: “We are working hard to understand the needs and concerns of the community, to ensure our officers are where the public need them, when the public need them.
“Anyone who would like to speak to us about any issues or local concerns are encouraged to do so.
“Please do speak to us if you see us when you’re out and about, we really appreciate your support.”
