A man has been arrested after a knifepoint robbery in a shop in Stoke-on-Trent.
We were called to Londis on Abbots Road, Abbey Hulton, at 9.50am on Saturday (11 January) after a masked man went inside with a knife and took money from the tills before leaving the area.
Since then, we’ve been trawling through CCTV at the scene and carrying out enquiries locally to identify more about the suspect.
A 53-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of robbery.
He has since been bailed with conditions while our investigation continues.
