A teenage boy has been arrested after officers found heroin, crack cocaine and a knife in Newcastle.
Yesterday (Thursday 20 February), acting on information from a member of the public who visited our base in the town, officers stopped two men and a teenage boy on Goose Street at around 11am.
A 17-year-old boy, from the Newcastle area, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a knife/blade/pointed article in a public place and possession with intent to supply a class A drug.
He has been released on conditional police bail while our enquiries continue.
