A man has been jailed after officers stopped and searched a car in Stoke-on-Trent.
Denis IstrefI, 19, of no fixed address, was jailed for two years after admitting possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A (cocaine), using a motor vehicle on a public road without third party insurance and driving a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
It comes after officers from our major and organised crime proactive teams stopped a car in Tunstall at around 9.30am on Monday 1 September.
A search of the vehicle recovered cocaine, cash and a mobile phone.

IstrefI was sentenced at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Thursday 27 November.
The sentence follows our ongoing commitment to proactively target serious and organised crime across Staffordshire.
We launched Operation Target in May 2023 and have been working hard to identify, disrupt and pursue criminals who plan, organise and commit serious criminal offences across the county, including drug supply, illegal firearms, knife crime, human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
