The family to a man who died following a collision on the A500 recently have paid tribute to him.
Michael Heath, aged 24, of Stoke-on-Trent, died on Tuesday (29 July) after falling from the Porthill overbridge and being involved in a collision with a white articulated LGV travelling northbound.

In a statement, Michael’s family said: “Michael was a beautiful person who loved being around his family, girlfriend and friends.
“He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
“He will always be in our hearts and will forever be our baby.”
The family continue to be supported by specialist officers and ask that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
Officers are continuing to investigate and ask anyone who saw what happened or who may have relevant dashcam footage to contact us on 101 quoting incident number 88 of 29 July.
Alternatively, email collision investigators directly at [email protected].
