We are appealing for witnesses after a man sadly died in a collision near Abbots Bromley.
We were called to the B5013 at Blithfield Reservoir at 9.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 12 August) following reports of a collision involving a blue Fiat and a pedestrian.
Sadly the pedestrian, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
His family are being supported by specially trained officers at this time.
The driver of the Fiat remained at the scene and is assisting us with our enquiries.
We are appealing for any witnesses, particularly those travelling along Blithfield Reservoir between 9.15pm and 9.35pm, to contact us. We are also keen to speak to those with dashcam or CCTV footage of the area at the time.
Call 101, quoting incident 863 of 12 August, or use Live Chat on our website.
You can also get in touch with collision investigators directly by emailing [email protected].
