Man arrested after sexual assault in Great Wyrley

We have arrested a man in connection with a sexual assault in Great Wyrley in 2021.
The sexual assault took place at approximately 5pm on Saturday 24 April 2021 when the woman was walking her dog in woodland off Walsall Road, near to The Star Inn.
A 30-year-old man, from Walsall, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted rape and sexual assault.
He is in custody being questioned by detectives.
