We’ve arrested three people after finding a large amount of crack cocaine, ketamine, ecstasy and cannabis in Cannock.
Proactive officers spotted three young men acting suspiciously in the grassland between Muldoon Close and Cleveland Drive at about 2.50pm yesterday (Tuesday 9 July).
When we stopped them, we found a large amount of crack cocaine hidden in a bush next to them.
Officers then searched an address and found cash, phones, cannabis, ecstasy tablets and ketamine.
A 20-year-old man, from Cannock, on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug. He remains in custody for questioning.
Two boys, aged 16 and 15, both from Cannock, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine.
They have been released on conditional police bail while enquiries continue.

Specialist officers have been working proactively to gather and respond to intelligence, carry out stop searches and target offenders in pre-planned operations and proactive warrants.
