We have arrested a man as part of our ongoing investigation after bullet holes were found in a front door in Stoke-on-Trent last month.
At about 9.30pm on Monday 15 January, two loud bangs were heard outside a home on Bishop Road in Chell Heath. No one was seen in the area at the time.
The following day, a number of bullet holes were found in the front door of a home.
No-one was injured.
Since then, we have been speaking to people in the area and carrying out enquiries to find out more about what happened. We also issued an appeal.
Yesterday (28 February), we arrested a 31-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, on suspicion of attempted murder.
He was questioned in custody and has since been released on conditional police bail with strict conditions while enquiries continue.
We are keen to hear from anyone who may have information that can help us with our investigation. We are particularly interested in any CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage from the area on Monday night (15 January), when the two bangs were heard.
Call us on 101, quoting incident 434 of 16 January, or message us using Live Chat on our website.
