The family of a man who died in a collision on the B5013 Admaston have paid tribute to him.
Darren John Dunning, who is often called ‘Daz’ by those who knew him best, was riding a Lambretta scooter when he came into collision with a white BMW shortly before 2pm on Sunday 1 December.
Sadly, Darren died at the scene.
The driver of the BMW stayed at the scene and has been helping collision investigators with enquiries.
In a tribute to him, Darren’s family said: “It is with deep regret that on 1 December, our amazing, unique, larger-than-life character Daz gained his angel wings far too soon.
“He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, four children, granddaughter, sister, his amazing family and his many friends.”
Specially-trained officers are continuing to support his family at this time.
We’re still keen to speak to anyone with any information or relevant CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage of the area at the time of the collision. Call 101, quoting incident 297 of 1 December, or email our serious collision investigation unit directly via [email protected]
