A man has been arrested after we seized cocaine and cash in a stop-and-search in Burton.
Officers stopped a black BMW on Curzon Street at 12.15pm on Tuesday (28 November).
We found cocaine, cash, mobile phones and a metal bar inside. The car was also seized for having no insurance.
A 25-year-old man, from Burton, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cocaine and possession of an offensive weapon. He has since been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
We are continuing to work with our neighbouring forces to tackle serious and organised crime as part of our Operation Target commitment.
