We are appealing for information following a serious collision in the South Staffordshire area last night.
We were called to High Arcal Road, Himley, just after 10.20pm yesterday (Wednesday 31 May) following reports of a collision involving a grey Mitsubishi L200 and a grey Mini Cooper.
Our colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and West Midlands Ambulance Service were also in attendance.
When we arrived, we found a grey Mini Cooper in a nearby hedge.
A passenger in the Mini sustained facial and head injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
She remains in a stable condition.
A man, in his 20s and the driver of the Mitsubishi, was taken to hospital for precautionary checks.
The road was closed just after 10.30pm and reopened just before 4.40am on Thursday (1 June).
Officers from the Collision Investigation Unit are particularly keen to speak to witnesses or those who may have CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time.
