Officers are appealing for information after a man sustained facial injuries during a traffic-related assault in Stoke-on-Trent earlier this month.
Police were called shortly after 7pm on Monday 6 June to London Road following reports of violence.
Witnesses reported a male offender driving a grey Fiat Punto recklessly on the road, almost colliding with an Audi Q2.
The Fiat driver then stopped his vehicle before approaching the driver of the Audi.
The victim, a man in his 50s, who was driving the Audi, was then punched by the offender before he made off in the Punto in the direction of Stoke-on-Trent city centre.
The victim sustained minor facial injuries which did not require hospital treatment.
The offender is described as a white male, of a slim build, with brown hair.
Officers have since reviewed dashcam footage at the time of the assault and have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
Anyone with information or relevant dashcam footage should contact us on Facebook, Twitter or call 101, quoting incident number 605 of 6 June.
