Officers are appealing for information after a man was threatened with a knife and robbed in Stoke-on-Trent yesterday (Wednesday 23 February).
The victim reported being approached by a male suspect at the junction of London Road and Spark Street at around 10pm.
The offender threatened the victim with the blade before stealing his mobile phone and wallet.
The victim, who was left shaken but unhurt, managed to get to a local supermarket where he alerted staff who called police.
The suspect is described as a black male, wearing black clothing, who left the scene on foot in the direction of Spark Street and was last seen on Hartshill Road.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the robbery or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time.
