Officers are appealing for information about a stabbing that took place yesterday (Monday 3 May) in the Cross Heath area of Newcastle-under-Lyme.
The incident occurred at about 1.40pm when there were reports of three men fighting on Comet Avenue.
Witnesses reported seeing one of the three men with a kitchen knife.
The man with a knife is described as white, about 5ft 8in tall and of slim build. He was dressed all in black including a balaclava, gloves and hood. He and another man are reported to have approached the scene from Matilda Grove.
