Officers are appealing for information after a teenager was assaulted while walking home in Codsall on Friday (21 May).
The incident took place at about 3.15pm on Elliotts Lane. A red Kia Ceed pulled up near the teenage boy and two adult men got out and proceeded to assault him until members of the public intervened. A third man was driving the vehicle. The two attackers then got back in the car and drove off in the direction of Codsall, turning right onto Wolverhampton Road.
The two men who exited the vehicle are described as black, about 5ft 7in in height and wearing black Nike hoodies.
The victim was left with cuts and swelling to the head as well as concussion.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has CCTV or dashcam footage should message Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter quoting incident number 359 of 21 May, call 101 or alternatively contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
